The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 roaring over the hearts 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 In extending columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
