▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and you are watching at that time 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
