Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieved – be they from the People of the Book or from those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity – will not desist from unbelief until the Clear Proof should come to them; 1 a Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified, 2 Containing correct and straight laws from Allah. 3 And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them. 4 And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. 5 Surely the unbelievers among the people of the Book and the idolaters, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those who believe and do good deeds are the best of all creatures. 7 God has a reward in store for them: Gardens of eternity, through which rivers flow; they will dwell therein forever. God is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him. Thus shall the God-fearing be rewarded. 8
