The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
