Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron my brother 30 To strengthen me 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 And remember you a great deal. 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Who then, O Musa (Moses), is the Lord of you two?" 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
