And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship? 70 They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. 71 He said: "Do they hear you, when you call (on them)? 72 Or do they benefit or harm you? 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping: 75 you and your forefathers of yore? 76 are my enemies? Not so the Lord of the Universe. 77 Who created me and Who guides me; 78 and Himself gives me to eat and drink, 79 and Who, when I am ill, heals me; 80 Who will make me die, then give me life again, 81 It is He whom I expect to forgive my sins on the Day of Judgment. 82 [And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. 83 and appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the others. 84 and place me amongst the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. 85 and forgive my father, for he is one of those astray. 86 and do not put me to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 87 The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 except what is done in obedience to God with a submissive heart. 89 For, [on that Day,] paradise will be brought within sight of the God-conscious, 90 whereas the blazing fire will be laid open before those who had been lost in grievous error; 91 and they will be asked: "Where now is all that you were wont to worship 92 Besides Allah? Can they help you or yet help themselves? 93 So they and all the astray were flung into hell. 94 and the hosts of Iblis, all together. 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 By Allah, we have indeed been in an error manifest. 97 When we equalled you with the Lord of the worlds. 98 “And none misled us but the guilty.” 99 and now we have none to intercede on our behalf, 100 And not a devoted friend. 101 Were there for us a return, we would be of the believers. 102 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 103 surely, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
