In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 Taught the Quran. 2 He created man 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. 9 And the earth has He spread out for all living beings, 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 And grain having husks and scented plants. 12 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 13 He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 21 Pearls and corals come forth from both of them. 22 Which, of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25
