Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 or should We, perchance, treat those who surrender themselves unto Us as [We would treat] those who remain lost in sin? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or do you have a scripture in which you learn 37 That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or is it that they have partners in worship? So they should bring their appointed partners, if they are truthful. 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt. 43 So leave Me, (O Prophet), to deal with him who gives the lie to this Discourse. We shall draw them little by little (to their undoing) in a way that they will not know. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them a wage, so that they are heavily burdened with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 When the unbelievers hear the Reminder, they nearly strike you down with their glances, and say: 'Surely, he is mad' 51 But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 52
