Truly, it is We who have revealed to you the Quran, a gradual revelation. 23 Therefore stay patient upon your Lord’s command, and do not listen to any of the sinners or ingrates among them. 24 And celebrate the name of thy Lord morning and evening, 25 And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night. 26 As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard. 27 We created them and strengthened their joints; and whenever We wish, We can change their faces entirely. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 (The virtuous mentioned in this chapter) want only what God wants. God is All-knowing and All-wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty. 31
