Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
