The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
