Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52

True are the words of God the Almighty.
