It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle. 10 And with it He grows for you corn, and the olive and the date-palm and the grape, and all kinds of fruits. Surely, in that is a sign for a people who reflect. 11 And He hath constrained the night and the day and the sun and the moon to be of service unto you, and the stars are made subservient by His command. Lo! herein indeed are portents for people who have sense. 12 And there are also Signs for those who take heed in the numerous things of various colours that He has created for you on earth. 13 And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks. 14 And He hath cast into the earth firm hills that it quake not with you, and streams and roads that ye may find a way. 15 as well as [various other] means of orientation: for [it is] by the stars that men find their way. 16 Is then the One Who creates like the one who does not create? Will you not, then, take heed? 17 And if you would count Allah's favors, you will not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 18 Allah knows all that you conceal and all that you disclose. 19 And those whom they worship other than Allah, do not create anything but are themselves created. 20 dead, not alive; and are not aware when they shall be raised. 21
