In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those that strike violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 and the severally severing 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
