Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
