And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. 69 When he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?” 70 They answered: We worship idols, and we remain ever devoted to them." 71 He said: "Do they hear you, when you call (on them)? 72 "Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?" 73 They said, “In fact we found our forefathers doing likewise.” 74 Abraham said, "Have you really thought about what you have been worshipping, 75 you and your forefathers -- 76 They are all enemies to me; all, except the Lord of the Universe 77 Who created me, then He has shown me the way: 78 "Who gives me food and drink, 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me. 80 He will cause me to die and will bring me back to life. 81 Who, I hope, will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgement." 82 "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 and appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the others. 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. 85 and forgive my father, for he is one of those astray. 86 And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected - 87 the Day when wealth and sons will be of no avail, 88 [and when] only he [will be happy] who comes before God with a heart free of evil!" 89 Paradise will be brought near those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path; 90 And the Fierce Fire shall be made apparent unto the seduced ones. 91 And it will be said to them, “Where are those whom you used to worship?” 92 "'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?' 93 Then will they be hurled therein, they and the seducers 94 and the hosts of Iblis, all together. 95 They shall say while they contend therein: 96 'By God, we were certainly in manifest error 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of all Being. 98 It is none but those steeped in guilt who led us into this error, 99 So now we have no intercessors 100 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). 101 Would that we might return again, and be among the believers' 102 Verily herein is a sign, but most of them are not believers. 103 surely, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
