The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
